Investor Relations Coordinator

We are seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join our team in Vancouver, Canada. As a member of the IR and Communications team, you will play a key role in supporting the Company's engagement with shareholders and the investment community.
Your key responsibilities will include preparing drafts of financial and operational news releases, developing investor presentations, researching and creating reports and analyses for senior management, and maintaining relationships with research analysts and associates.
To be successful in this role, you will need three to five years of experience in a similar investor relations role, preferably in the mining industry, a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a similar field, and superior communication skills (verbal and written).
You will also need to be dedicated, well-organized, and resourceful with a high level of attention to detail and able to handle confidential information, have strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a group setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare drafts of financial and operational news releases that are consistent with corporate messaging;
2. Develop, update, and maintain investor presentations for investor marketing purposes;
3. Research and create regular reports and analyses for senior management on peer group companies for comparison and benchmarking;
4. Research and report on relevant market topics and provide insights to stock market activity on the Company, affiliates, and peer group companies;
5. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new research analysts and associates;
6. Review, update, and maintain a database of key consensus valuation metrics;
7. Work with senior management to coordinate strategic initiatives with key investors;
8. Maintain dialogue and develop relationships with existing and new retail brokers and retail investors;
9. Develop answers to questions from retail investors and brokers and ensure communications are consistent and positive;
10. Assist in maintaining financial models focusing on earnings, balance sheet metrics;
11. Perform other duties as required in support of Company objectives.
Requirements
1. Three to five years of experience in a similar investor relations role, preferably in the mining industry;
2. Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a similar field;
3. Superior communication skills (verbal and written), a proactive attitude, and a track record of success and growth;
4. Dedicated, well-organized, and resourceful with a high level of attention to detail and able to handle confidential information;
5. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
6. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a group setting.
Benefits
This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary commensurate with the candidate's experience, knowledge, and skill set, and a comprehensive benefit package for employees and their eligible dependents. The base salary range for this position is CAD $95,000 - 115,000 per annum.
