About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Food Processing Labourer to join our team at Olymel S.E.C/L.P. in a meat packing plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
  • Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
  • Feed and unload processing machines
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a cold/refrigerated and wet/damp environment, with a focus on meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment.

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods
