About the Role
Douglas College is seeking a highly skilled International Marketing and Recruitment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing and recruitment strategy for the Middle East and North Africa region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted recruitment and marketing strategies to promote Douglas College's programs in the Middle East and North Africa region.
- Build and maintain relationships with education agents, partners, and stakeholders to increase international student enrollment.
- Provide consultation services to the College on North Africa and Middle East specific needs for recruitment and servicing.
- Work with international high schools in the region and attend recruitment fairs to promote Douglas College's programs.
- Seek opportunities for institutional partnerships between Douglas College and private or public post-secondary institutions in the region.
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field from a recognized post-secondary educational institution plus two years' related work experience in post-secondary admissions, marketing and recruitment as it relates to international education.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing relationships with external organizations and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective marketing and recruitment strategies and events.
- In-depth understanding of the field of international student marketing and recruitment.
- Experience planning, coordinating and organizing large-scale recruitment events.
- Current knowledge of Immigration, Refugees, Citizenship, Canada (IRCC) regulations as they pertain to international student admission and registration.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, including an excellent working knowledge of the English language.
- A solid working knowledge of the B.C. and Canada post-secondary education systems.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and contemporary web-based communication applications.
