About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Clerk to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The Stores Clerk will be responsible for:

  • Managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
  • Coordinating deliveries and receiving shipments
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Assisting with cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and will be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
