Job Title: Project Manager for Construction Operations



 



Overview of the Company and Job Role:

Newton Rebar Service Ltd. is a leading provider of high-quality rebar services, and we are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our construction operations team.



Estimated Salary:

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.



Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high standards of quality. Key responsibilities include:




  • Budgeting and Estimation: Prepare and submit accurate budget estimates for construction projects.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and timelines to ensure smooth execution.
  • Contract Management: Prepare and negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
  • Quality Control: Establish and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 construction professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.


Work Environment and Conditions:

The Project Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, often outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management or a related field.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and other relevant software tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
