Job Summary:

The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for receiving, shipping, and maintaining inventory in our warehouse. This includes loading and unloading, unpacking, inspecting, moving, storing, and recording the movements and storage locations of materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and ship all parts, part cores, and service-related shipping functions.
  • Load and unload, unpack, inspect, move, store, and record the movements and storage locations of materials.
  • Issue or transfer materials to customer department personnel or other warehouse locations.
  • Maintain an updated listing for our current inventory, ensuring bin locations are accurate.
  • Determine appropriate transportation for shipping of goods, prepare bills of lading, and ensure proper packaging of goods.
  • Perform cycle count functions, investigate and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Participate in annual inventory counts.
  • Assist parts counter personnel with processing orders as required.
  • Maintain the parts department areas in good order, ensuring all areas are kept clean.
  • Operate and maintain forklifts.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years related warehousing experience.
  • Strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety.
  • Current forklift certification.
  • WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Fire Extinguisher, TDG, First Aid, and Hoisting and Rigging training is an asset.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers.
  • Valid Class 5/G drivers license.
