  • Job Summary
  • Milestones is seeking a skilled Kitchen Support Staff to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Responsibilities
    • Assist in food preparation, including portioning and wrapping foods, and preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
    • Handle and store cleaning products, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for preparation.
  • Requirements
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
    • Capacity to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
    • Ability to operate manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
    • Capacity to clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
    • Ability to handle and store cleaning products and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Ability to remove kitchen garbage and trash and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
    • Ability to wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for preparation.
