Cybersecurity Analyst Job Description

At American Iron & Metal Co, we're seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing robust cybersecurity solutions to protect our IT assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cybersecurity solutions to secure our IT infrastructure.
  • Manage and optimize the use of cybersecurity tools, including Qualys, Delinea, and SentinelOne.
  • Participate in SecOps activities to improve our security posture through continuous monitoring, incident management, and rapid response.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cybersecurity to anticipate and defend against new threats.
  • Provide training and guidance to infrastructure teams on security best practices.

Requirements:

  • Degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • In-depth expertise in vulnerability scanning and patch management tools, penetration testing, and information security management systems.
  • Technical knowledge of Azure, VMWare, Windows Servers, Office365, Active Directory, GPO, SentinelOne, Delinea, Qualys, Forescout, Linux, Kali, PowerShell, Shellscript, Fortinet FW, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSiem.
  • A certification such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ is highly recommended.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make recommendations based on analytics.
