Pastry Production Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pastry Production Assistant to join our team at THE GOOD TIME BAKERY. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting our pastry cooks in preparing and producing a variety of baked goods for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist pastry cooks in preparing and producing baked goods, including measuring and mixing ingredients, operating mixing and grinding machines, and packaging finished products.
- Help to maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning machines and work areas, and adhering to food safety and handling practices.
- Assist with tasks related to transportation and logistics, such as loading and unloading baked goods for delivery.
- Provide support to the production team as needed, including assisting with process control and machine operation.
Requirements
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, such as baking or food production.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality.
- Basic math skills and ability to follow recipes and instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for long periods of time.
