About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Sorter to join our team at Cascades. As a Material Sorter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe sorting, grading, and placement of recycled materials in their appropriate areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort and grade materials according to specific departmental requirements and production standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Lead Hand, including housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and yard cleaning.
  • Assist truck drivers and participate in snow removal and other tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to cross-train and grow within the company.
  • Good hand and eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Normal plant work with seasonal exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
