Job Description for Structural Steel Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Fabricator to join our team at Whitemud Ironworks Limited. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying out reference points and patterns, assembling and fitting plates and sections to form structures, and setting up and operating heavy-duty metal-working machines.

  • Work Setting: Various locations
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail
  • Specialization or Experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge, structural metal or steel
  • Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, welding helmet
  • Benefits: Dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, paramedical services coverage, vision care benefits, night shift premium, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 44 hours per week

A successful Structural Steel Fabricator will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have strong communication skills.
