Surveillant Securite

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surveillant Securite to join our team at Le Centre de Guérison Waseskun. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our residents, visitors, and staff.

• Conduct regular surveillance of the grounds and property to identify potential security risks and threats.
• Perform resident rounds to ensure their safety and well-being, and provide assistance as needed.
• Prepare and submit various reports and registers to management, detailing security incidents and concerns.
• Enforce policies and rules by monitoring resident and visitor behavior, and taking appropriate action when necessary.
• Escort residents on outings, such as trips to the store or medical appointments, to ensure their safety.
• Search bags, rooms, and personal effects when required, in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct inventories of personal effects when requested by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while also being a team player who can collaborate with others as needed.
• Flexibility regarding work schedule, including willingness to work overnight shifts as required.
• Easily adaptable to a rapidly changing environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This amount includes benefits, which may include health and dental insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
