Job Title: Freight Transport Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Freight Transport Specialist to join our team at BRONCO LOGISTICS INC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Attention to detail is essential for this role.
  • Handling heavy loads is a requirement.
  • A large workload and overtime may be required.
  • The role is physically demanding and requires repetitive tasks.
  • Sitting for extended periods may be necessary.

Experience: Experience is an asset for this role.

Work Schedule: 40 to 50 hours per week.
