We are a dynamic and fast-paced retail service establishment seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary

The Food Store Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, hiring and training new employees, establishing work schedules, and preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
    • Supervise staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members
    • Co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient operations
  • Staff Management
    • Hire and train new employees
    • Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations
  • Customer Service
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve business objectives
    • Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and management
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Other trades certificate or diploma
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
