At TA Exteriors Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and sanding seams and joints. You will also be required to cut and install metal corner beads, fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids, and fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of drywall installation techniques and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be able to lift heavy drywall sheets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install drywall sheets and apply successive coats of compound
  • Sand seams and joints to a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Lift heavy drywall sheets

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of drywall installation techniques
  • Ability to lift heavy drywall sheets
