Produce Clerk

At Metro, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Produce Clerk to join our team. As a Produce Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our produce products are always fresh and of high quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, rotating stock, and disposing of expired or spoiled products.
- Ensure that all produce products are fresh and of high quality by inspecting products, rotating stock, and reporting any issues to management.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
