Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Risk Management Specialist to lead our Internal Audit and Controls team. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with clients to establish effective systems of internal controls that safeguard their assets, improve financial reporting reliability, and maintain compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute enterprise risk services engagements, focusing on risk management and internal audit services across various industries.
  2. Determine engagement scope, programs, criteria, and procedures to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  3. Conduct walkthroughs and control testing, documenting, assessing, recommending, and implementing improvements to processes and control frameworks.
  4. Create and deliver training materials for clients and team members.
  5. Manage engagement planning and scheduling, as well as project financials (budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition).
  6. Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research, analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals, and other high-quality deliverables.
  7. Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients, ensuring their needs are met and relationships grow and develop.
  8. Maintain high-quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address issues or key risks relevant to the client's business.
  9. Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities, and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needs.
  10. Mentor, motivate, and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
  11. Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.

Requirements:

  • CPA or CIA designation.
  • 5 to 7 years of internal audit or performance improvement related experience.
  • Experience in business and practice development.
  • Proven people management, relationship building, and leadership skills.
