Job Summary

The Physiotherapist II, Oncology is a key member of our team, responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with cancer. This role requires a strong foundation in physiotherapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to identify patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve patients' physical function, mobility, and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in education and research activities to stay current with best practices and contribute to the advancement of physiotherapy knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation Sciences, or equivalent.
  • Current licensure with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia.
  • At least two years of recent experience in physiotherapy, preferably in an oncology setting.
  • 50 hours of post-graduate coursework or training in additional procedures, techniques, or job functions.
