Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team at Pahoa Produce Company Ltd. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas
  • Operate a variety of equipment to move materials and products, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Read blueprints and instructions to determine dimensions and material requirements
  • Ship orders and pick items from inventory
  • Weigh materials and goods, and make labels as needed
  • Pack and unpack goods, and sort, crate, and stack materials
  • Install, lash, and secure goods for transportation
  • Store cargo and materials in a safe and organized manner
  • Transport and distribute materials and goods to customers
  • Organize and maintain inventory using computerized systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Work Environment

The Material Handler will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with regular exposure to physical activity, including bending, crouching, and lifting. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
