Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at CHELA TRANSPORT LTD. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining piping systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pipe Installation and Maintenance: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Pipe Joining: Use couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment to join pipes.
  • Piping System Requirements: Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing to ensure efficient flow.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials needed for projects.
  • Pipe Measurement and Cutting: Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Skill Set: Accurate, Team player, ability to work with English as the primary language.
Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of piping systems and experience working with a variety of materials. You will be part of a dynamic team and have the opportunity to work on diverse projects.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
