About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at DEOL ROAD CARRIER LTD. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Train and develop a team of 3-4 employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on the performance of the team and the operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Work Coordination: Coordinate and assign work tasks to team members, review their progress, and provide feedback.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on equipment and facilities.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate activities with other departments and work units to ensure seamless operations.
  • Client Support: Provide ongoing support to clients after the sale to ensure their needs are met.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Government Programs: Recognized employer with permanent employment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
