We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Equipment Representative to join our team. As a Field Equipment Representative, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our equipment in the field, ensuring high customer satisfaction and meeting project objectives and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform jobsite inspections and reviews to verify equipment quality and identify any deficiencies.
- Investigate and resolve field quality issues for all Hussmann products, submitting reports through our online CRM program.
- Communicate effectively with sales and engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of equipment issues.
- Order parts as needed to resolve equipment warranty and quality issues.
- Follow up with warranty and engineering requests for additional details from job sites.
- Prioritize job responsibilities and manage technical issues for delivered equipment to ensure a positive resolution for the customer.
- Attend customer meetings, review project schedules, and coordinate equipment deliveries with installing contractors.
- Review plan changes to existing projects and coordinate equipment changes as necessary.
- Identify the need for and coordinate own travel schedule to active jobsites to review equipment deliveries and meet with installing contractors.
- Champion cost savings measures and methods.
- Develop positive relationships with contractors and customers.
- Communicate with customer representatives, contractors, and sales organization on the status of all equipment issues.
- 5 years of experience in Refrigeration/HVAC and/or related industry with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 4 years of project management experience required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Refrigeration/HVAC or demonstrated technical ability.
- Ability to identify and champion projects through to completion.
- Excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills, both verbal and written.
- Up to 50% travel required.
