Job Overview

  • We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Store Manager with strong selling skills and at least 3 years of retail management experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales, customer service, and staff management.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of operations, including sales, customer service, and staff management.
  2. Achieve or exceed personal sales goals as established by the Store Manager.
  3. Open and close store, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for customers and employees alike.
  4. Maintain financial objectives for the store, including achieving revenue targets and managing inventory effectively.
  5. Coach and train store personnel to help them achieve their personal sales goals and develop a complete knowledge of merchandise.
  6. Recruit, hire, train, and coach store employees to ensure peak performance of the store and its employees.
  7. Implement CRM data capture, inventory management, revenue management, merchandising, and loss prevention programs in accordance with company policy.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all employees within the store also provide exceptional customer service.
  9. Maintain the stability, security, and reputation of the store by complying with corporate, legal, and security requirements.
  10. Maintain a neat, clean, and professional working environment.
  11. Monitor and maintain merchandise to ensure cleanliness of the product, accurate ticketing, and proper display.
  12. Service watches, including sizing and battery changes as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong selling skills and at least 3 years of retail management experience.
  • Experience in watch, jewelry, fashion, accessories, cosmetics, specialty, and/or luxury retail strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must have intermediate computer skills, including MS Office (Word/Excel).
  • Must have open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business and to ensure store objectives are met.
