Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Operate a straight or articulated truck to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Route Planning and Optimization: Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, using computer equipment and GPS technology.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Language: English.
