Job Title: Drywall Installer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Prizma Drywall Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing drywall in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth surface
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry
  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces

Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with varying work sites, including heights, dusty, and noisy conditions.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty and noisy conditions
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Reliability and teamwork skills

Language: English

Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week
