Job Summary

Strike Group is seeking a skilled Apprentice Pipefitter to join our team. As an Apprentice Pipefitter, you will possess the knowledge and skills required to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for various industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints, including Isometrics and P&IDs.
  • Follow Field Installation Work Packages (FIWP) and assist journeyperson pipefitters with turnaround activities.
  • Work under Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and install blinds, remove accessories, and clean welds inside equipment.
  • Remove and replace valves, including PSV, Gate, Globe, and Control Valves, and reactivate systems.
  • Remove and replace worn components and ensure system functionality.

Requirements

  • Must be a registered Apprentice with the appropriate provincial or federal authority.
  • Hold valid H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry, Aerial Work Platform, Fall Arrest, and CSTS 2020 or equivalent tickets.
  • Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined space environments.
