Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing quality and person-centred nursing care to our residents. This role operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice as outlined by the relevant provincial governing body's practice standards and Code of Ethics and Park Place policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Nursing Practice
  • Demonstrate knowledge and ability to utilize the nursing process in identifying resident health care needs.
  • Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills in all aspects of care.
  • Prioritize and manage resident care according to identified care needs.
Clinical Judgement
  • Apply clinical judgment in performing assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care.
Communication
  • Document resident care using computer systems.
  • Share information appropriately with the healthcare team while respecting confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
