Salary
We offer a competitive salary in the range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing process improvement actions to enhance EHS, Quality, and Manufacturing performance. This will involve:
- Leading the health and safety of employees and ensuring compliance with all established Heath & Safety rules and the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Accountable for manufacturing KPI's – yield, up-time, and flow rate and labour utilization.
- Maintaining FMEA, Control plans, SOP's, and Flow diagrams for their respective area.
- Training team members in Standard Operating Procedures and ensuring regular audits for the maintenance of such procedures.
- Assisting in the development of new products or processes and systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An engineering degree or diploma in a related field (mechanical engineering).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in manufacturing problem-solving from start to finish using structured problem-solving and Lean Manufacturing tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Superior computer skills – word, excel, ppt, outlook.
