At T's Liquor, we are seeking a skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves operating a cash register, processing payments, and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills and experience in handling cash transactions. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, restocking shelves, and assisting customers with purchases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is an asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently
  • Process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments
  • Scan items and tabulate total payment for goods or services required
  • Receive payment for goods or services and reconcile with total sales
  • Suggestive selling to increase sales and meet targets
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean counter area
  • Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Accept reservations or take-out orders
  • Wrap or place merchandise in bags
  • Assist customers with self-checkout
