We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Machining Engineering Specialist to join our team at Waterford Executive. Key Responsibilities- Analyze and evaluate current machining processes to identify areas for efficiency improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce cycle times, increase throughput, and ensure high-quality output.
- Lead the evaluation, testing, selection, and implementation of advanced machining technologies, including CNC automation and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and automation into production processes.
- Develop and oversee accurate cost models and estimates for machining operations.
- Provide manufacturing solutions for new program acquisitions.
- Assist and train functional teams on new processes and technologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in CNC machining processes, tooling, and programming.
- Familiarity with other manufacturing processes such as stamping, forging, assembly.
- Problem-solving using statistical methods (e.g., DOE, SPC), and experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficient documentation skills in technical reports and presentations.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to provide direction and mentor junior engineers.
- Embrace change and adapt to evolving manufacturing technologies.
- Work well with colleagues from different disciplines (e.g., design, quality, production, and program management).
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
