Law Clerk – Creditors' Rights Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Law Clerk to join our team at Kronis, Rotsztain, Margles, Cappel LLP in our Creditors' Rights practice group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare pleadings, including Statements of Claim and Judgments, in accordance with court rules and regulations.
  • Prepare and file Writs of Seizure, ensuring timely and accurate completion of documents.
  • Assist in preparing motions, garnishments, and other legal documents as required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties using various computer systems and databases.
  • Prepare general correspondence, including letters and reports, to support the team's efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the team, including administrative tasks and research.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience working as a Law Clerk in a related practice area is preferred.
  • College Diploma/University Degree in a relevant field, such as law or a related field.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent attendance history.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
