About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Demand Planning and Strategy to join our team at Gay Lea Foods. As a key member of our Sales team, you will be responsible for leading the Demand Planning function and playing a critical role in our Integrated Business Planning process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Demand Planning Function: Develop and implement a comprehensive demand planning strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
  • Drive Business Growth: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Manage Risks and Opportunities: Identify and mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities that impact our demand plan.
  • Develop and Communicate KPIs: Establish and communicate key performance indicators to ensure continuous improvement against key metrics and Integrated Business Planning expectations.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
Requirements
  • Strong Planning and Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic plans.
  • Commercial Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial or planning role, preferably in the food industry.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others.
