Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated educator to join our team as an Intermediate Teacher at Voyageur Elementary School. The successful candidate will possess a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach intermediate-level students and develop engaging lesson plans to promote student success
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement school-wide learning initiatives and support struggling students
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the School Growth Plan and Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements
  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate
  • Member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch
  • Elementary Education specialization or related teaching experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
