Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading play-based education programs for Junior and Senior Kindergarten students, working closely with classroom teachers and supporting their development through collaborative planning and implementation. The incumbent will also have opportunities to engage with parents and families, promoting partnerships between home and school. With a focus on meeting individual student needs, this role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications
A post-secondary diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working with children, preferably in a licensed group facility setting. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other stakeholders. Valid First Aid certification/CPR and Immunization Record with proof of MMR and Tdap immunizations are necessary requirements. Additionally, a Police Records Check for the Vulnerable Sector within the last 6 months (or within the last 5 years for current employees) is mandatory.
