Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (La commission scolaire du Nunavik) is seeking a highly skilled Administration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process for our entire organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent;
- Coordinate the job posting process, including creating job postings, advertising, and screening resumes;
- Conduct pre-interview screening and coordinate interviews with hiring managers;
- Verify academic and professional qualifications of candidates;
- Prepare and send offer letters and documents to new hires;
- Update HR lists for new hires and maintain accurate records;
- Compile data and produce reports on staffing management;
- Collaborate with HR Coordinators to ensure seamless recruitment process.
Requirements:
- College studies diploma in administrative techniques with a human resources option, or equivalent;
- Two (2) years of experience in administrative support or human resources;
- Fluency in two of the three official languages of KI (Inuktitut, English, and French);
- Knowledge of Word and Excel, with ability to work independently;
- General knowledge of recruitment principles and practices;
- Proactive and autonomous, with excellent organizational and communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Available to travel to Nunavik 1-2 weeks per school year.
