Key Responsibilities
The Director of Cyber Operations Risk Management Operations will be responsible for directing and managing risk-related activities supporting all pillars internationally from initiation to delivery. This includes regulatory queries, risk controls framework, audit queries, and compliance governance reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the Risk Management Operations team and cross-functional teams to ensure cyber security objectives are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee the delivery of the Controls framework.
- Respond to regulatory requests and ensure compliance.
- Manage audit requests and ensure timely responses.
- Develop and implement effective internal review processes to improve the quality of submissions.
- Define and provide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the services provided by RMO.
- Manage Cyber Operations Compliance Reporting.
- Collaborate with the GCS Cyber and Risk teams to coordinate security control reviews and assessments.
- Contribute to the development of GCS strategy, roadmaps, and direction of controls and services.
Requirements
Must have:
- University/College graduate or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and compliance requirements related to cybersecurity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to stakeholders.
- At least 5 years of experience in people management.
- At least 7 years of experience in developing, evaluating, or implementing cybersecurity, technology, or risk assessment activities in the financial services industry.
- Keen attention to detail, with the ability to problem-solve and think critically.
- Experience responding to regulatory requests and exams.
- Deadline-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to meet high-quality standards under pressure.
- Able to manage a changing priority environment.
- Passionate about IT Risk Management.
Nice-to-have:
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Professional security/risk management certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC.
