About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at PUR & SIMPLE Breakfast & Lunch. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including loading buspans and trays, operating dishwashers, and portioning and wrapping foods.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and organized.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Food Handling: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as needed.

Work Environment
  • Work Setting: The kitchen environment can be fast-paced and physically demanding.
  • Work Schedule: The work schedule will be 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
