  • Job Description
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Spring Living Retirement Communities.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of resident suites, common areas, and other facilities within our community.
  • This is a critical role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and disinfect resident suites, common areas, and other facilities as directed.
  • Empty and clean waste containers, and transport garbage to designated areas.
  • Make up beds and change linen as required.
  • Perform laundry duties as required, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and delivering clean linen and clothing.
  • Attend in-service education sessions, staff meetings, workshops, etc. as required.
  • Requirements:
  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Completion of secondary school education or equivalent.
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with residents, family members, and staff.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including work performed indoors in well-lit, well-ventilated areas.
  • Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Persons Check required.
