About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at McIntyre Coatings Ltd. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including robotic welding production lines
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet quality and safety standards
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet production targets
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding or a related field
  • Strong understanding of welding processes and techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
