About the Role

Martini Stone Masonry Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a key member of our masonry crew, you will be responsible for preparing and installing tile surfaces, including mosaic designs, in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tiling by measuring, marking, and applying adhesives as required.
  • Set tiles in place using hand tools and apply pressure to ensure secure placement.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout to achieve a professional finish.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles as needed.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in tile setting and masonry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
