About the Role:
WestRock is seeking a skilled Provincial Red Seal Licensed Industrial Maintenance Millwright to join our maintenance team in Calgary, Alberta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment, maintaining preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergencies, providing temporary or permanent solutions as needed.
- Maintain and improve preventative maintenance programs, ensuring regular checks and lubrication on all equipment.
- Assist with equipment installation and fabrication, and perform mechanical-related repairs as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality results.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and Provincial Red Seal Certified Industrial Millwright.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed Industrial Millwright.
- Technical knowledge and skills in mechanical maintenance and repair.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work shifts, including midnights, afternoons, and days.
