Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Volkswagen MidTown Toronto. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Diagnose the source of any malfunctions and perform repair, using your technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing warranty repairs, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.
  • Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required, taking a proactive approach to maintaining our customers' vehicles.
  • Perform road tests using safe driving standards, ensuring all vehicles are safe to drive and meet our high standards.

Requirements:

  • Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician License.
  • Valid Driver's License (Class G) with a clean driving record.
  • Dealership experience required, with a strong background in German brand vehicles.
  • Experience working in a technician position is preferred, with a strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
  • Motivated, hardworking, and a team player, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
