We're a leading equipment rental provider, and we're looking for a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a Class A CDL Driver at United Rentals, your primary goal will be to deliver equipment to our customers in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and pick up equipment for customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers, consistent with DOT classification CDL-A
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
  • Maintain accurate driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspections
  • Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of DOT-regulated commercial driving experience
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 pounds
  • Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
  • Diligent attention to safety
