Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our team at Central Equipment Sales and Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, and replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, as well as inspecting and testing mechanical units for faults and malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant technical training or certification.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial transport truck systems, including engines, electrical and electronic systems, diagnostics, brake systems, hydraulic systems, fuel and emission systems, and drive train components.
