We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Security Guard to join our team at a beautiful recreation facility in Barrie. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patrons, staff, and assets. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be interacting with the public on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor access points and conduct surveillance rounds to prevent unauthorized entry
  • Provide excellent customer service to Recreation Centre patrons
  • Point of contact with authorities and emergency services
  • Ensure compliance with site rules and safety measures

Requirements:

  • A valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid card
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A sound understanding of material contained in ministry mandated 40 Hour security guard training
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Available to work schedule described in Job Description
  • Have a clear criminal background
  • Be eligible to work in Canada
