About the Role:
CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Officer to join our Management Accounting Department. As an Accounting Officer, you will play a key role in analyzing and reconciling financial data to assess the financial situation, participate in forecasting, and support decision-making and budget planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and reconcile financial data to assess the financial situation
- Participate in forecasting and budget planning
- Support decision-making with financial data and analysis
- Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in administration (accounting or finance option) and at least one year of experience in a related position or performing related duties
- Or DEC in Administration and a minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Or seven years' experience performing related duties
- Proficiency with Excel
- Good knowledge of SAP (an asset)
- Advanced oral and writing proficiency in French
- English (an asset)
- Able to manage multiple priorities
- Able to work effectively on a team
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
