About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Raku Rice & Noodle Bar. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including those for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage kitchen supplies and equipment.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
