About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to lead the creation and ongoing improvement of our Health & Safety program. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with various departments to develop and implement strategies that ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections
  • Provide training and education to employees on health and safety procedures
  • Collaborate with joint health and safety committees and senior leaders to ensure effective health and safety management
  • Monitor and analyze health and safety data to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate is an asset
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Good grasp of Quebec laws and regulations about workplace accidents and illnesses
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible schedule and availability for emergencies around the clock (24/7)
