Job Title: Truck Driver - Goods Transportation

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at MEGA TRANSPORT LTD. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload goods from trucks
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo

Requirements:

  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Attention to detail
  • Sitting
  • Organized
  • Reliability

Work Environment: This is a permanent position with 40 to 60 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
