We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team at Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our bakery department.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dough and batters for a variety of sweet goods, including cakes, pastries, and bread, according to recipes and customer orders.
- Decorate cakes and baked goods to a high standard, using creativity and attention to detail.
- Manage inventory and requisition materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Prepare special orders and ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve our goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work a 30-35 hour week.
- Work in a bakery environment with exposure to flour, sugar, and other ingredients.
- Stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as required.
